When AP Directors Sam and Marina got engaged, little did they know that they would soon be following very different career paths. Sam has a degree in Philosophy and a background in publishing, whilst Marina has a degree in Business & Marketing and a background in catering. But when they started planning their own wedding they fell in love with the task in hand. A short while later Absolute Perfection was born!
The foundations were laid during the dark winter months of 2003/2004. At the time they were holding down separate jobs, setting up a new business and planning their own wedding, all at the same time.
"It was the start of a 70 hour a week," explained Sam, "that rolled on for 6 months!" He continues,
"Our very first client was booked in March 2004 – an American couple living in Colorado who wanted a simple humanist wedding on the Isle of Mann. It was a small budget and only a handful of guests attended. But it was a beautiful wedding that we designed and planned as if it were our own."

WHY INVEST IN US?
Some clients do not have the time to plan a wedding, whilst others want the task done professionally. The fact is, organising a wedding with all the hopes, dreams and expectations that go with it takes time and effort, the complexities are unique and the stress can at times become unmanageable. THE WAY WE WORK
First and foremost is our understanding that this is your wedding! You will remain in complete control throughout the planning process and we will never try to push you towards venues, services, suppliers, designs or ideas that you are not 100% comfortable with.
A consultation is the first step and usually takes place in your home, office, local bar/restaurant/hotel, at our offices or via zoom, skype or even telephone if you'd prefer. It's the ideal opportunity for us to get to know each other and to ensure that we are compatible (we don't suit every couple we meet!). And of course it enables us to gain a clear insight into your personal priorities, aims and objectives for the Big Day.
During the consultation, we will carefully review your thoughts, requirements and expectations and provide you with a variety of bespoke wedding planning ideas and practical options for achieving your wedding objectives. We will also focus on enhancing the aesthetics and review a host of creative and innovative concepts to
entice the senses and enhance your guest's experience.
By the end of the meeting we will have an outline of a blueprint for your wedding and a plan of action on how to bring the designs, concepts and ideas vividly to life.
Be assured that the Design element doesn't suddenly stop when we move to the Planning Stage. It never stops, even on the wedding day itself because the difference between a good wedding and a truly great wedding is a relentless attention to all the finer details. We appreciate that your priorities and requirements may change as your knowledge and understanding of the wedding planning process develops. The plan of action is therefore always a fluid 'work in progress' that develops over time.
Although we have close working relationships with many of the UK's best venues and suppliers, we are also totally independent and offer unfettered access to every suitable, identifiable venue, service or supplier here in the UK or overseas. During the Planning Stage we will draw up a bespoke shortlist of the very best venues and suppliers that match your requirements. We will then manage your chosen few throughout your engagement, organising all appointments, viewings and meetings; negotiating contract terms and providing practical, realistic solutions and directions for any potential issues that may arise.
But it doesn't stop there, for we will gladly take care of any wedding related issue that you need help with, no matter how minor, obscure or complicated it might seem to be. For example, organising bridal party attire; chasing late RSVP's; advising on wedding etiquette, security or difficult family members; managing guest travel arrangements, hen/stag weekends, the honeymoon or even pre-nuptial agreements!
